About SpammerBeGone.com

The SpammerBeGone.com concept was conceived in the last quarter of 2004. We were increasingly aware of the problems that webloggers, forum administrators and email users were having with spam and our dislike for weblog, messageboard, trackback, referrer and email spammers grew daily.

In response to the ever increasing levels of spam being dealt with across the net a few talented programmers put their heads together and came up with various spam prevention scripts and programs. Many of these scripts and programs are very effective at reducing the efects of spammers on our lives but sadly too many people were not aware of their existence. Because of this.. SpammerBeGone.com was born.

SpammerBeGone.com doesn't claim to reduce the amount of spam anyone will get. No, this is 'just' a website. SpammerBeGone.com does, with the help of our Partners, hope to raise the level of awareness and to educate our visitors about the wide variety of resources at their disposal. Through the use of these resources our visitors will greatly reduce the impact spam has on their lives. In the end we hope to have contributed to making the internet a more enjoyable experience for all!

Through the SpammerBeGone.com 'Be Our Friend' program more and more spammers are being redirected to our site. This is helping to make them aware that we think 'Spammers Suck!' and their practices are not appreciated by members of the internet community.
